When preparing for your FinOps Center installation, it's important to consider the design aspects concerning both your Cloud Estate and the specific location of the FinOps Center installation.

Aligned with the Multi-Account Strategy, FinOps Center is designed to facilitate the management of your AWS Cloud Estate via the Delegated Admin Account. An account may already be configured in a customers’ Cloud Estate as a Delegated Amin during the setup of other AWS Management and Security services like Security Hub.

FinOps Center's underlying components leverage the CUDOS Framework and seamlessly embedded Amazon QuickSight Dashboards. Customers are required to activate Amazon QuickSight and implement both the CUDOS Framework and its associated dashboards.

All AWS Marketplace subscriptions need to be in an account designated with Delegated Admin privileges. This ensures a streamlined approach to access and management across the entire system.
